Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of MeetandGreet.AI and the purchase of usage minutes.
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the relationship between the provider of the MeetandGreet.AI platform (named in our Impressum; "we", "us") and you as a user. They apply to consumers and businesses alike; mandatory statutory consumer-protection rights remain unaffected.
2. Subject of the contract
MeetandGreet.AI provides AI-based interview practice: simulated interview panels, AI-generated questions, real-time conversation, and automated scoring and feedback. The service is sold as prepaid usage minutes that are debited as you use it.
3. Conclusion of contract
Using the platform requires registration via the supported sign-in. A paid contract is concluded when you order usage minutes and we confirm the order or process your payment. The online presentation of the service is not a binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros. For consumers, prices include statutory VAT (gross prices). Payment is processed by our payment service providers Stripe and PayPal, whose terms apply to the payment transaction. Purchased minutes are credited to your balance after successful payment.
5. Usage minutes and refunds
Usage minutes are consumed in real time while you use the service; a started session is billed against your balance. Outside the statutory right of withdrawal (Section 6) and mandatory warranty rights, purchased minutes are non-refundable and cannot be paid out in cash. Minutes do not expire unless stated otherwise at purchase.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Full details — including the early-expiry rule for digital services and the model withdrawal form — are set out in our separate Right of Withdrawal notice (/widerruf).
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance and may modify or discontinue features, while preserving minutes already purchased.
8. User obligations
You agree to use the service lawfully, to provide accurate registration data, to keep your access credentials secure, and not to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform.
9. AI-generated content
Questions, scores, and feedback are generated by AI for practice purposes only. They are not a professional, psychological, legal, or career assessment, are not guaranteed to be accurate, and do not constitute advice. You remain solely responsible for any decisions you base on them.
10. Intellectual property
All content, software, trademarks, and other intellectual property of the platform belong to us or our licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal interview practice. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us the rights necessary to operate the service.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), and then limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
12. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (/privacy).
13. Changes to these terms
We may amend these GTC where there is a valid reason (e.g. changes in law or to the service). We will notify you of material changes in good time, e.g. by email. If you do not object within the stated reasonable period, the changes are deemed accepted; we will point out the significance of your silence. Your statutory right to terminate remains unaffected.
14. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers this does not remove the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Should any provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ .
